Hello! I'm JY. As a mother of triplets, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of parenting multiples.
Even before my trio arrived earthside in my first operating theatre experience, it was tough. My pregnancy was the most difficult thing I've ever had to go through. 35+ weeks later, breastfeeding, diaper-changing marathons, and saying goodbye to uninterrupted sleep became my new normal.
Despite the chaos and fatigue, it's been nothing short of magical. Watching my little ones grow and learn, share giggles and hugs, and form an unbreakable bond has been such a great joy.
My initial days as a pregnant triplet mum were spent reading online articles and crying at how scary everything seemed to be. I am thankful to have found other parents of twins and triplets through a Facebook group (and subsequently a WhatsApp group) who have generously shared their experiences. Our community might not be large, but we understand each others’ struggles in a way that others cannot.
Along the way, I started following families with many children as they inspire me. I find their strength inspiring and love learning from them.
Now that my children no longer need my attention every waking moment of the day, I'm starting this space that I wish I had found years ago.
Through this website, I hope to offer a virtual shoulder to lean on, a place to share stories, swap tips, and lift each other up as super blessed (but never-not-tired) parents, especially those of multiples and large families in Singapore.
